Depends where you live but, usually, not particularly.
Though it is now that you've broadcast over the internet that a 14 year old will be hanging out at the movies in your area.

At fourteen you should have some one with you at all times of the day and night at the mall. And yes I feel that's to late to be hanging out , go home have supper and watch a movie with your family where it is safe. ak

Always have a buddy system yes malls and movies are no place to be alone it isn't even real safe for adult women I always go with friends at night to either

it is really not if u know the person u r with makes u safe and happy dont think bout the bad have a good time and do what u do as long as u r somewhere and know there is know 1 givin u danger

yes! When i was that age thats all my friend and I used to do. Until one time when this guy came up to us when we were waiting for a ride and actually touched my friend's shoulder and just started talking to us. Luckily some older woman we didn't know come up to us and say "come on girls time to go home." or somehting like that so it looked as if we were with her. The guy backed off and she waited with us until our ride showed up. It was scary but we were so lucky that woman was there.

maybe 5-7 would be a little better. my mall has a curfew and you need an adult to be inside the mall

well 1st is there is cameras in the mall and security dont go into the bathroom cause no cameras there and dont wonder too much stay in the stores its safer

Alone, yes. With a large group....not as much. As A Mom, I would have my misgivings too, but statistically, you are safer in crowds.
