That whole thing is between Israel and Lebanon, the US has nothing to do with it, aside from vetoing a bill that would prevent Israel from defending itself. If Lebanon's government and the people that live there were not so supportive of the Hezbolah (and the government isn't keeping them in control), then maybe Israel would be a bit more careful, but many civilian Lebanon are supportive of the Hezbolah. I have no sympathy for anybody that supports those hate-mongers. For the ones against the Hezbolah, I feel bad for them. But I also feel bad for the Israelies being killed, and not to mention the soldiers who were taken that started the whole thing.

i could want to respond to your question with some questions. at the start, dont you think of you're asking the incorrect u . s . for that answer? in case you're an American, have you ever completely forgotten 9/11 and each and all of the youngsters that have been killed? As you comprehend, there are no weapons that for the duration of basic terms hit human beings 5ft tall and taller, leaving the others unhurt. Very unfair question, definitely you comprehend how all of us feels approximately little ones being harm or killed. Larry

Are you seriously asking this question??? We are human just like the rest of you. Most of us have feelings & emotions that match yours too. What is happening across the seas is terrible, but unfortunately, we are not involved in it. Why is it that when we stay out of things that are not our business, people find it ok to question our morals regarding this sort of thing? If we had jumped right in & started firing in all directions---wanna know what the questions then would be?? Why are we involved...

I am very proud of my country! Please don't assume that what you see on the news & media represents what America as a whole feels.

I think that lots of people are to stubborn to see what is truly going on. Lots of people are going with their local news and lots of news channels don't bring the real truth. I mean is that hard to search on-line and see what happened in Palestine 50 years ago. How Isreal invaded it. DOn't people want the truth. SEarch online and you will find the answer. But lots of people are brainwashed by their governments.
