It's normal to feel that way. I feel like if my hair is in some way not looking right then my whole day is going to be messed up.. I feel like there is something off about me and I want to fix it for me and no one else... You need to remember that if you do obsess over your looks that you are only obsessing for yourself.

I believe the word might be vain? It's good and healthy to care about how nice you look from your hair down to your toe nail polish. But if you are spending a lot of time in front of the mirror. Then its not really healthy. ak

It's normal for us girls. Plus there's so much pressure on us these days to be "sexy," even though we're much more than that. Just try to think about other things. Get more hobbies, hang out with friends you have a lot of fun with. Take the best care of yourself that you can, and just try to live life happily. : )

Because you're a female. Most of us do. How many women are really satisfied with how they look? We can thank society for making us have unreal expectations of ourselves. We can't all look like supermodels, so why do we beat ourselves up trying to?

i am the SAME...my bf is always telling me that i worry too much about what i look like or how i look to other people, but that is just me and i would rather worry that i am looking ok than walk around not giving a s.h.i.t......!!! hun..that is just the way we r!!! at least you care...
