for the past 4 or 5 years I have done about 98% of my christmas shopping on line, Usually start looking in september or so...but I have gotten things earlier If I find a great deal. I also always use my debit card so I rarely have any debt as a result from christmas

I start Christmas shopping Dec. 26th for the next Christmas. I buy all year round. I have to with my 4 kids, my husband and 2 neices, 2 nephews, a grandmother, my parents, and this year a new neice or nephew.

Depends on the time of year, but in general I am in the Christmas shopping mood around November-ish. Last minute shopping isn't that bad either.

everyday is a Christmas shopping day for me. some items are toys, some are a new DVD, some are even, five large pizzas from Domino's.
well i start my Christmas shopping the day after thanks giving. it's a family tradition, as we set up our Christmas tree after we get done eating our thanksgiving feast. we then put up our Christmas tree after, and then the day after we do the stand outside the department store for two hours to get those great bargains.

I try to buy things here and there throughout the year....nothing major, but if I see a good deal on something that just screams out a friend or family member's name, I go ahead and get it then and there, so I don't forget it. I also make sure to place them all in one location in my closet, so I don't forget them when Xmas comes around.
I really start for my daughter in October, because at 10, almost 11, she changes her mind so much, that I can't do too much for her early in the year unless there is something she realllly wants.

I begin my X-mas shopping as early as November 27 to beat the christmas rush of shoppers.

During the after Christmas sales. I make a lot of my gifts for people and I need the entire year to do it because I need thinking time and creating time and most importantly- hiding time so they don't find them before they are supposed to. Plus I save money and they get an original gift from me.

Even though I say I'm going to buy a present or two a month, I still end up getting the bulk of it the last month before Christmas...
