What would his pupils look like, could i wake him up fully, how would he respond to me if effected by this drug? I overheard conversation about did you give him the pill to help him sleep? Then they used the word diazepan, I don't know if I am spelling this right, but I am worried, please tell me all you know, and serious answers only.

diazepan is used to treat panic attacks, and muscle spasms. It is also used to treat acute seizures. This drug should only be given to children under close medical supervision, Serious side effects are-unusual bruising or bleeding, yellowish tinge to eyes or skin, low blood-pressure, memory impairment, skin rash, --Common side effects include drowsiness, light headedness, slurred speech. If this drug was not prescibed to this child? This child is being abused and it is your duty to call child protective services, police, etc... If you are aware of this and this drug is being given just to get this child to sleep. and you do nothing, you are just as guilty not doing anything

Diazepam is a benzodiazepine which decreases anxiety. If he is 2 yrs old, he probably is not getting it unless he is in the hospital. He would be a little or a lot drowsy depending on how much he got.
They give valium as a 1st line drug for status epilepticus. Maybe he has a seizure disorder. Who knows. The situation is very vague.

It is diazepam. It is used as a sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, anticonvulsant for acute repetitive seizures, alcohol withdrawal aid. It is also abused as a street drug.

I'm not sure this would be given to a child. Check with a medical professional.

This is a serious issue and you need to take your concerns to Child Protective Services in your area. No child of this age should be given anxiety medication to make them sleep. This is abuse!!!!!!!!! Get help for your grandchild immediately!
