I have lived here for almost 9 years. Is that to long to stay in the same city for almost 9 years.

I lived in Las Vegas for 4 months and it was more than enough. I couldn't wait to go back to California. 9 years doesn't sound like a long time to live in one city, as long as you like the place you're at.

Yeah, it's way too long...I've been here for since 1995. I hate this town with a passion, the city has no soul or culture. In fact if you have a soul I believe it slowly bleeds it out of you. There's very little beauty here outside of the mountains that surround it. I can't leave though. My son lives here and I will never live somewhere that he's not (until he's living off on his own or in college)

i've been here 5. i hate it most of the time but when i go to other cities i miss many things. like no open container laws (what do you mean i can't take my drink with me?!?!), 24 hour dining and entertainment, and the camraderie of watching sports with a bunch of drunken idiots on huge tv's with pretty servers giving me free drinks.
there's culture in vegas you just have to know where to look. there's first friday in the arts district, lv art museum is starting to get some serious exhibits, we have 2 theatres that show indie and foreign flicks, cinevegas film festival at the palms that gets bigger every year.
it's not too long if you like it here. i can't see myself staying forever but in the meantime las vegas will do.

I've been to Vegas twice, but I would never live there. I love where I live and wouldnt want to live that far away from my family.
