Why do band from back in the old day got blame while today no one is getting blame?

Back in the 70-90 rock bands where blamed for suicide, murder, satanism, & all the other stuff while today no one gets blamed.

Like Ozzy, Judas Priest, & Metallica were blamed for suicide of couple of teen boys, with their songs "Suicide Solution", "Better You Than Me", and "Fade To Black"

While Marilyn Manson and Ramstein were blame for Columbine Massacre. AC/DC was blamed for the inspiritation of Richard Ramirez, you know the friendly Night Stalker who love the song "Night Prowler". Yeah he killed 15 to 19 people. Even NWA was blamed for their song F*ck The Police.

While today, bands like Good Charlotte or MCR and other bands talk about revenge, self-mutiliation, and crap like that and they haven't been blamed for squat.

Or maybe they do except they don't show them.

What is up with that?

People nowadays realize that you can't blame people's actions on anyone but themselves. Back in the day, nobody wanted to accept responsibility for anything bad that happened...so the music industry was an easy target for finger-pointers. Thank god we aren't that childish anymore.....right?

Maybe the media and the world is matured enough that they don't feel the need to blame anymore.. bwahahahha...

I rather think it is fear of being sued that keep them from this these days......

We can always hope that it's a sign that people are getting smarter and taking responsiblity for their own actions. Nah I don't buy that one either.

Obviously, they just arent good enough to have people assume the worst about them.
