Do americans know that 1/4 of all citizens that get tasered by the police are either innocent or non-violent?

I think stronger guidelines need to be created by the police on how and when tasers can be used on citizens. Way too many non-violent and innocent people are being tased. Please contact your local officials and tell them you either want tasers banned or you want tasers strongly regulated on how and when the police can use them.

I agree tasers are used in excess sometimes, but what facts state "1/4 of tasered citizens are innocent/non-violent"?

I do think that they do use excessive force, watching Cops just pisses me off sometimes cause they'll literally beat the living crap out of them because they're doing what they call "resisting" and all it is is not responding quick enough to what the officer is telling them to do. I watched them taser a guy twice just to "teach him a lesson." I always see them beating them down cause they don't put their hands behind their backs quick enough, I don't think that cops realize that they're not above the law.

Another thing I love that is big in our town is when cops turn on the sirens to go through a red light and then once they go through they turn them off. Thats a big one that pisses me off.

but if i ever get innocently tasered by police i will be sure to sue them for everything they've got.
