I wouldn't get anything but an iPod (I have a nano).
I know iPods are mp3 players and iPod is just a name brand, but I think iPods are much better than all the other wannabes!

i pod nano Is an mp3 player, but so far ipod has the best because theyve become so popular, that there are endless things you can do with them, like games, programs, files, and music. also has tons of accessories. If you can wait til fall, Microsoft is coming out with a new one that should be stiff competition

mp3 player ipod sucks no its good but the 1 i hav its bad and its very hard to find songs its easy in mp3 for me

i dont know sh*t about ipods, but i have and mp3 player.
an mp3 player can do the following: play the radio, play songs from your computer, record either your voice or whatever you want to record, stores at least a couple hundred songs
also it requires one AAA battery.
both cost a lot.
