what would you do or say if someone you really disliked said that they really wanted to be with you and they said that they would die if they couldnt be with you? im just asking cause someone told me that and even though i dislike this person i am afriad on what to do. i just hope they are joking.

Well you just need to sit down with that person and say look you're cool but i just don't have any feelings for you I'm sorry and that's all that you should have to do if they keep saying they would die and stuff like that just ignore it.If they really like you they wouldn't scare you and talk about death and stuff.Don't pressure your self over that i know you re really stressed bout him talking this way but just talk to him and only once you don't need to keep talking to him more than 2 times and if he had feeling for you he should respect you're feeling if you're so important to him the way he says then he would respect you're space and feelings and that you're not comfortable. glad to help if it did help you email me back at queentaryntng@yahoomail.com and tell me how it went

first and foremost u dont like but as humanitarian consideration u are afraid will he do some thing , just imagin if he say he gonna die for u is not nuts i mean he might mad for but will eb fine to liv with a person like this who is gonna die for some one whom he doesnt knw well and u say u dont lik so even he has nt even understood uu ,, i say just ignore and it s old same dirty trick by most of the ppl to convince others if u dont lik him tell him wht u think abt him rather than giving him any kind of hope ,, wish u every luck enjoy ur life when u hav that and dont get in any ties which makes u adjust , it doesnt me u cant be in lov but it shld come from ur heart an dboth of u shld feel ,,,,,,,

Just say "Well I am flattered of course, but I really don't feel even close to that toward you. You need to keep looking. There is someone out there for you." Then maybe you can look around for someone that would like this person or not.

I would only do what makes you happy. I know that sometimes it can be difficult if someone likes you and you don't feel the same way. Maybe bring up the fact that being friends is a better outcome for your relationship.

Be upfront and honest about your feelings. As far as someone saying they will die if they can't be with you, that is a control tactic, to try to get you to do what they want. This is a very controlling person and they are using whatever it takes to try to get their way. I would be honest and stay away from this individual.

You could gently let them down by saying that you don't want to be in a relationship with them, but that you appreciate that he or she was comfortable enough with you to be forthright with his or her feelings. Then, don't answer the person's phone calls or E-mails...if someone doesn't have any of your responses to go on, then he or she will eventually stop calling you.
In terms of the potential suicide threat: if he or she is going to commit suicide or attempt suicide over it, then that's something you have no control over.

Let it go, it's their own problem if they can't deal with you not being with them, one of my friends went with someone they really didn't like who was just like the person you're describing and wound up in what I think was a pretty horrifying situation. I'm glad my friend is still here!

is it a boy? if it is. did you ask him if he was joking?
if he is then dont bother
if he isnt you could try to work things out with him like say we can be friends
or you could tell him that its not fair to the other person if he is like that cuz that would be only one part of the relationship and he wouldn't be happy anyways

You are being manipulated by this person. If they do something stupid because they can't have their way, that is not your fault. Don't let someone you don't like dictate to you or have control over you. Tell them to get lost and never look back.

I would tell him that he was truly an awesome individual, and that your relationship with him is just not on that level. Not that you don't care about him, nor because he is inadequate in some way. Also, tell him that there is definitely a girl out there for him, he just has to have faith and look for her. Good luck!!
