Supporting Israel is the lesser of two evils .... ask yourself what the Arabs have done for us to make us support them?

Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it." -- Ariel Sharon to Shimon Peres, October 3rd, 2001, as reported on Kol Yisrael

why do you think the president of the super country must go peligerame to the weaker and smaller country to insure success in his own country America ?

why every polititian wanna reach a good position in USA , governer , senator ..etc. must say something good about israel , and someone like Arnold Shwarzineeger (who dream of becoming a president of the united states) led this week a demonstration to support israel , and said that the first place he visited after elected was israel .

isn't USA is the super country and israel is the small one ? that can't be a friendship , because friendship is between nations at the same degree USA and europe for example maybe, once was soviet union and china . but when the votes in the security council are always 14 : 1 ( the world vs USA) in any reslution against israel , something must be wrong

so the answer is that because it is very well controled by israel/jewish lobby , and americans are not allow to listen except to what those tell them , and politicans can't do anything but what is good to israel as much as they can , even if that is against america's own interest

It's probably guilt over what happened before the second World War involving a group of Jewish refugees from Europe before the Nazi Germans conquered most of the continent. A group of Refugees from Europe was turned away by the Americans. It was later discovered that the people on this ship were rounded up and shipped off to concentration camps where most if not all died.Since this event , Americans seem to believe that it is their duty to help Israel whether against Arabs or any other enemies they may have. I'm sure the Jewish lobby within the U.S. is a factor as well.

It is not U.S. support of Israel against Arabs. It is U.S. support for Israels right to exist. If Europeans were persecuting the Jews (and this happened not long ago.) The U.S. would come to their aid against the Europeans as they did in WWII. Arabs have attacked Israel many times. Their are many Arabs that wish for Israels destruction. Israel is often attacked by suicide bombers and has missiles and other rockets fired at it, by other Arabs. Who should then Israel defend herself from? The Russians?

cuz ,Jews control the media ,cuz they control the white house right now
but the Q is what the Arabs doing about it ? why they are so separated ?
why Arabs always against themselves ?
our problem that we always bag USA to help us ,while we are so certain that they will always support Israel so why we are so stupid not to see that it will never change ,they will never be in our side at least their gov ,i am not talking about American ppl
how can that Arabs never learn the lesson and every time run to USA gov to solve our problems
if we are so weak to solve them by ourselves , don't blame USA ,blame the Arabs

There are 2 substantial motives: Ideologically, the U. S. and Israel are close, they are the two unfastened industry democracies, And the 2nd reason is that there is a politically energetic Jewish community interior the U. S. which wields substantial political and economic clout. Whoever is president needs that community on his section and because this community, widely speaking is supportive of Israel, helping Israel has been the coverage of maximum US presidents to this or that degree.

There is no need of support against peaceful Arabs, but that is not the case is it? We support any country against terrorists and the governments who back them. Israel is one of our closest Allys, we have a large Jewish population, all of these are applicable to your question.

Because Jews have better delicatessens.

Sure Falafle is nice but not every day.

Jews can make better corned beef sandwiches and salads, look at the variety of foods at a Dell.

I say super-size this war and corned beef for everyone.

Go big Red Go
