Calling those opposed to Israel anti-Semitic is due to complete ignorance. The definition of Semite is "member of Semitic-speaking people: a member of a Semitic-speaking people of Southwest Asia, including the Arab and Jewish peoples, and the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, Carthaginians, Ethiopians, and Phoenicians" (from Encarta). Therefore Arabs are Semites too. In fact, the main difference between Israelis and Arabs is purely religious. Apart from that, culturally and ethnically they have more in common than different from each other.

Israel ought to be left to fight its little war all by itself without american and british support. Anyone who thinks this comment is anti-semetic is completely bonkers. The holocaust wiped out millions of people in the most horrific and cruel way - and not all of those people were jewish. Genocide happens every decade before and since - the jews do not have a monopoly on suffering. Oh and taubdave (below) is a muppet.

Israel is fighting people who hate Jews and are trying to destroy the sovereign state of israel, which takes up precious little space on the globe. when you combine this with the Holocaust and other widespread oppression my people have received throughout the world, not supporting Israel is anti--Semetic.

It is a symptom of the guilt trip laid on the west for allowing the holocaust.

In response to the above post about Stewart. He makes fun of any hypocracy or lie, be it idiocity from the president (plenty of that), or foolishness from the Democrats. He is also making fun of what the Israelis are doing to Lebanon.

i'm no longer anti-semitic; I do have a average touch of Islamophobia. frequently because of the fact ofthe modern-day Mid East conflicts and 9/11. I comprehend that the nutbags that flew the completely loaded commercial airliners into the WTC and Pentagon weren't authentic Muslims. Heck, they snorted coke and frolicked with pink haired hookers. however the "Allah Akbar" utterance good in the past effect is telling.

You are absolutely right. Funny how flip-floppy those liberals can be, huh? It really cracks me up how famous Jews like Jon Stewart and Barbra Streisand are SO against our president and this war, when the terrorists would be coming after them FIRST! Excellent point! Thank you!

Good question I often ask myself the same question. It must be because the Jews control most of the Western Media and have been able to use it for their own propaganda.
