duh,.....

jus kidding,...

uhmmm, . . if its a white cotton, then use a spot remover first to get the easy stuff out then just put the part that is stained in a large glass or small bowl, and pour bleach directly in - onto the stained area, ad a little warm water to help it get going. Then ignore it for a few days. That will do the trick.

Otherwise, if it isn't white, then you're screwed.

Go out and do a little shopping you can either get yourself a piece of costume jewelry to cover it up (something fun that you like) or you could find a fabric something or other like a flower or *cute* animal patch, to cover it up. If the fabric isn't to fancy and the stain is in a not too conspicuous place, you could try to simply burry it in a seam, like bunch it and sew over it so it appears like it is really part of the design of the garment, the draw back is you have to put "pin-tucks" around in equal spacings to make it look normal.

That is if you're particularly attached to that fluffy rag. Which can be understandable, there are certain pieces of clothing in our collections that we regard as simply priceless for our own reasons.

But if you're not too attached, and you got it kinda recently - hell this is the perfect opportunity to go shopping to get another like it or something totally new.

Good luck

Ink from Ball Point Pen
Did ink from a ball point pen get on your clothes? Try a sponge soaked with milk and rub on the ink. It may take a couple of tries, but will work.
or:Ballpoint Pen Ink: First, saturate material with an alcohol-based hair spray (this seems to be a very popular method). The alcohol content in the hair spray will break up the ink. Be sure to place an absorbent paper towel or rag under the stain to catch the excess. You then need to blot the stain with a rag. Repeat the process until the stain is removed, then launder as usual. A word of caution before trying this method: some fabrics may be damaged by the hair spray solution. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area first, or consult with a professional dry cleaner.

I spray hairspray on it and it dissolves. Press the cotton dress stained area between two completely white paper towels to absorb the black ink's color. It is crazy sounding but it works. Good luck.

You cant. Unless the dress is white - then you can bleach. Other than that you are stuck! im just kidding. there is a way!

Get nail polish remover - which is acetone. Acetone is an organic solvent, and should get the ink out. Just run the acetone through your garment until all the ink dissolves out.

The only Sure solution: Go to the mall and buy another cotton dress; and don't be such a klutz the next time with your pen.

Try rubbing alcohol. Or one of those Stain Devil little yellow bottle things with powder inside. Bleach might help if it's bleachable (only chlorine--don't bother with color-safe bleach.) If it's permanent, try embroidery or a patch.
