Why do people insist on wearing obnoxious perfume?

Wasn't it invented by people to be a cover up? I always suspect someone smells bad naturally and needs it as a coverup. There are a lot of people who have migraines due to perfume. It creates a toxic environment.

Perfume was invented as a coverup for stinky people in the dark ages, they did not believe in bathing then--the Church said it was a sin, so they didn't bathe for months on end. Amazing. How could they even stand getting close enough to each other to propagate? Anyway, I dislike almost all perfume on women, and all perfume on men. To me, people smell best natural and clean.

And today people smell perfume in the stores and think "wow, that is great" but when they get home and use it, it doesn't always smell like it did in the store. That is because everyones body chemistry is different, and if a person smokes, or drinks that can change their personal odor from day to day, so they go for what I call an "overkill". There is a saying I like... "Less is More", and if more people lived by that , then maybe the environmental issues wouldn't be so great. I hope I answered some of your question. I tend to ramble on.

I don't think that people take others in to consideration, they don't think that it might offend another sensibility's. I try not to wear perfume I mostly stick with lotion that have a sent. If I do wear perfume I make sure not to wear to much. When I was pregnant I was much more sensitive to smells and that's when i stop trying to get attention through smelling good and I also realized that it can be to over powering and then know one want to be near. I hope others who read this that wear to much will think twice!!! We don't want to smell you!!!!
