When I organize, I make sure I can SEE what is in every box and that things can stack safely and securely. I know baskets are "cute", but if you really want to be organized, think visible. And even if I can see it, I STILL label it, to be sure. I do dollhouse miniature work and some of that stuff is *tiny* (LOL!!). Think I'll check out some of those recommended sites myself! Oh, and two links of my own -- eHow.com for just about anything -- here with instructions and tips on how to get organized!! Good luck.

It really depends on what you are trying to organize. Bills, documents and the like, any office store sells a Tupperware/Rubbermaid like filing system with hanging files. Easy storage and easy to move around and they are stack able. Sounds like maybe you need to go thru and prioritize what you want to keep and you really do not need. Donating the items you do not need has a double benefit. Hope this helps.

rubbermaid is good,it's stackable and sealed,just don't forget to get trid of unused things,that should save you on some space. another good thing for clothing is space saver bags.

go to the hgtv channel and watch the program "mission organization" or you can view slides from the show on www.hgtv.com

maybe date the boxes, if a box goes five years without being opened, then ditch it

Every week in these containers that are emptied. You probably have some at your house, they are called "garbage cans".
