Democrats come from urbanized port cities that have a real threat from terrorists, stand more to lose in a poor economy, and people's livelihoods depend on stable jobs not being outsourced or reorganized. Republicans come from rural areas where people feel threatened by gay marriage and flag burning.

Well if that's true (idk if it is)it's no big deal because people here in New York are mostly democratic so it's cool.
