What's it mean if I'm VERY VERY VERY interested in serial killers/murders? Does it mean anything? I love to learn about them, I read about them all the time. I'm not a sicko or anything....

I'm just asking this question for fun to see what people think it might mean, though it's true. People have told me that there it has an actual name and whatnot......

Probably not, serial killers are fascinating (not the stuff they do to ppl, but just why do they do it). I know a lot of ppl who are interested in learning about serial killers including myself and I'm not a psycho and neither are my friends. That's why they make so many books, movies and TV shows about them, I think ppl just want to get to the bottom of it, like what made them do that awful stuff?

You like to learn about their behaviours because they are totally different than other people, but they are actually psycho, i am sure you like to watch the movie "psycho" the true story by norman bates, i liked that movie too, only because i like to learn about psychology, if thats your case "learning about behaviours" then its fine, but the question you asked also got link with evil thoughts which sometimes facinates us.

As you have time for this kind of interest, maybe you can find a better hobby which can make you feel better and sometime help others too, maybe study psychology or people common problems, behaviour.....everybody feels good when they help others.

Maybe i could describe it in better way, but thats all i can say in my poor english because its not my mother tongue.

I am interested in serial killers as well and I am not a weirdo. I find it very interesting to learn about their motives and such like why they do what they do, their brain patterns, and all that stuff...It is just a very captivating subject to learn about.

Maybe a natural curiousity as to their motivations and their formative years in the sense of research/understanding.

Overall, though, I would think they'd be less fascinating if they had victimized a member of your family.

Perhaps then you'd just want justice.

I am intrigued by them as well......or rather HOW they developed their power. The sad but amazing thing is how so many people turn over their power -- to their ultimate demise. I am deeply interested in abnormal psychology, and don't consider myself strange at all.
