Well say you lied to a boy saying you were 16 because you wanted to go out w/ him. But now you got a boyfriend you love and don't want to talk to this other guy anymore. You want to stayfriends and since he already says he does to you think it's time he knows you aren't 16. How can you tell him this and be sure that he won't exactly stop talking to you. Or how can you tell him this and then if he says, "but why would you lie to me?" what would you say. Thanxxx 4 the help. I need lotzza answers.

Well, if you need to lie about ur age to get his attention then personally i think that the relationship is now based upon a bed of lies. You know, I dont think that your boyfriend would be very happy at the fact that ur were interested in this "friend" and now you want to stay friends after he proly still likes you. Just be straight out honest and let him know the situation. What are you hiding? And are you sure that you JUST wanna be his friend? Are you really in love with ur man or whats the deal? Plus, whats the worst that could happen? Your friend gets mad at you? WOW BIG DEAL. So what? Friends come and go. What you really should be focusing is how your relationship with ur man is gonna be if he finds out bout this kinda stupid stuff. Sweety if he asks why you would lie to him, tell him why...WHY did you lie bout ur age anyway? What does it matter? Doesnt he like you and not ur age? Huh? Let this go...I think u like the attention that ur friend wants to give you....don't mess with his heart. How would you feel if you were put on the rebound? If you dont wanna be with him and you just wanna be his friend, likely story is that it wont last....Theres jealousy, anger, resentment, and then feelings of doing irrational things. Are you trying to keep him on the sidelines in case u n ur beau have difficulties? Take it from me...Let this thing go...WHATEVER IT IS. It's not worth risking ur lovely relationship. Only the truth will set you free! You cannot make someone care, but you can destroy the feeling concerned. It is better to tell the truth now than to have a hidden lie found later or exposed by others!
You use the word love too freely. Most of what you have written will not be found in loves Dominion!

Be honest to him. I think after you tell him that you are not 16 but want to be only friends, he'll agree. But he'll definitely ask you why you have lied to him. You'll explain him that you liked him very much and that was the reason for your lie -> just wanted to go out with him :) Good Luck!

I would tell him ur real age and that u want 2 stay friends that u r sorry 4 telling him a lie . and if he asked u y did u lie 2 me tell him u wanted 2 meet him and thats y. good luck with ur problem.

Just tell him... there is nothing you can do to change the fact that you lied... just tell the truth if he doesn't like you because you lied about your age... then you know drop him... a guy will and should like you for who you are not your age...

i would just say hey, if i said something and didnt mean it and i wouldnt mean to hurt you but theres something you gotta know...and then tell him that your not 16, and tell him that your sry for lying and ask if he understands why you did it,and then ask if he would still be your friend. thats what i would and have done. that person might be mad for a bit, but if they were really your friend, theyd get over it. just try it, it worked for me

Just tell him your real age, maybe he already knew. Just say it face-to-face instead of over-the-phone, it's more personal and tell him that you still want to be friends with him.
