you can either soak it in warm water or use rubbing alcohol. just make sure you don't get the cork wet.

I wet q-tips and wipe the inside of the mouthpiece with them, then I run water through the mouthpiece, then dry it off with a tissue. You can play right after you clean it. It works!

depends on the material, if it is made of hard rubber most thigns will leave a tinge to it, the best way is to use water and a brush, all the other ones aside form wood you cna use almost naythign else

I used to use cheap vodka- the 5.99 stuff. Works a treat (top tip- also very good for cleaning CDs)

Note you shouldn't do this right before you play it or your playing may deteriorate ;-)

The best way is to Soak it in water and baking soda... (Bicarbonate soda) This also works for jewelry.
