Unless you can actually find proof that he is telling you the truth or a lie about a certain thing then you just can't know for sure - it's a trust issue in many cases...

If you've never caught him in a lie, trust him. Readjust your strategy if you do catch him in a lie or if the actions don't add up with the facts. Ultimately, you want to be with someone you trust and who trusts you. If you don't have trust, move on.

If he looks up to his right, your left, when he's telling you something, then he's accessing a memory. If he looks to his left while tellin you he's lying. If his eyes switch back and forth as he's telling you then he's making it up as he goes.

You can never really know. You just have to decide if he's worthy of your trust. Have his actions led you to feel he's trustworthy... or have they led you to doubt him?

grab him by the balls and he'll tell you pretty much anything you need to know. expect though for him not to speak to you for awhile.

when he lies, after sometime, he will contradict himself.
when he says the truth, everything has to make sense to you, pay attention....
