My wife needs contacts and last time i bought them at Sears and it cost $200 this company says they will sell the same ones for $125 with free shipping. Is it ok to buy contacts online?

I actually bought some for he first time on-line a month ago. I bought them from www.coastalcontacts.com and they have great prices. I have not had any problems with them.

You need to be care full. Different contact lenses have
different applications. Some may inadvertently give you a generic or a different make of lens, with the same prescription.
As long as its the same make and type of lens, they should be OK.
Which, FYI I had happen to me and it was very very painfull

My mom orders my brother's contacts online and we have never had a problem. The prescription is from an eye doctor...we just renew the order and they come directly to the house. I think it's pretty safe to do.
