Be aware of when you ovulate! Generally this is two weeks after the FIRST day of your period (7 days after your period ends.) Have sex beginning a couple of days before this. Have him take a vitamin that has folic acid which can increase sperm count. Also, only have sex every 2 or 3 days to increse sperm count at time of ejaculation. The more swimmers there are, the better the odds of one making it! Abstain from excessive alcohol use, avoid drugs too. These can sabotage fertility.

Have a good physical to make sure that neither you or your husband has a problem. Most problems are correctable. Try to NOT focus on getting pregnant. That is hard, but if there is too much focus, there will be stress...and stress doesn't usually produce a child. Focus on each other. Have romantic dinners...wine...head home and enjoy each other and try elevating your hips during your "connection" and stay flat for the rest of the evening. It is important to keep the "little fish in the pond" as long as possible. I hope this helps...it has helped several people I know.

When you have intercourse do it missionary style and be on the bottom! Afterwards dont get up right away just stay laying on your back for at least 20 minutes, putting a pillow under your bottom will help to. This will make it eaiser for the sperm to make its way to the egg... if you were on top or standing the sperm has to work harder due to gravity ect. ALSO.. make sure you are taking a folic acid of some sort... orange juice, prenatle ect... Folic is very important before, during and after having a child! This worked for me the first time! GOOD LUCK!

Are you charting or monitoring ovulation in any respect? Otherwise there isn't so much else to inform ya. And sorry however, four months is not anything (bobbing up on a yr right here!). Takes the traditional couple 6-yr. Just supply it a few extra time! And sure, loosen up, pressure does no longer aid. I are aware of it does not aid even supposing you recognize approximately how lengthy it might take- every month I nonetheless check out to determine what I am doing incorrect!

You may need to go see a fertility specialist. However you need to try to lower the stress levels in your life. Sometimes stress makes it hard to conceive. Not only that but don't assume that you are the problem I've have dealt with a lot of cases where I found that the man was the one with a low sperm count. Speaking as a Naturopathic Doctor. I can tell that if you try to lower your stress and try taking iron tablets. But the stress is a biggie. Try to lower the stress levels first as fertility specialists can be very expensive.

The best thing to do is ask your doctor or a fertility clinic, not an internet chat room. A qualified medical person will ask the right questions and run the appropriate tests needed to determine the problem for the long wait.

Please check with the pros.

When a couple have tried to get pregnant for 1 year without success, they are medically considered infertile. The first thing you need to do is to have the man sperm motility evaluated, then, the percentage of live viable sperms needs to be evaluated.

The man is the first perso to blame for infertility until cleared medically unless the woman have significant history.

If you haven't already tried the basal temperature method, perhaps you can try it to find out when you're ovulating. You measure your temperature every morning right after you wake up and while still in bed. If you're ovulating, your basal temperature should get higher (like .5 degrees) and this would be a good time to try getting pregnant.
