18+4=22 but if you sold some of the 18 pillows in order to afford the 4 pillows because you seem the very poor type pf person who can't do the simplest of math or tries to confuse people with ESL math, and as such you probably are on social service or have no job, and as such you would probably need to sell some of the 18 pillows in order to afford the new four. Assuming that evry new pillow can be afforded for two old ones. 4 new is equal to 8 old ones sold and as such you would now have 14 pillows, don't try to be math smart and confusing because you are not cool and provide more information.

You stated that you "HAD" 18 pillows. I'd say the answer is "at least 4" though I'm not sure if you even kept the 4 that you bought.
