Some good magazines for 13 year olds (girls) would be like American Girl, or Discovery Girl. Both don't have any "grown-up" stuff in them and they aren't "dirty" either. For 13 year old (boys) try magazines that have video games, or cars on them. (If they like that sort of thing!)

The best mag. for a boy is Ebony,Jet,Game Informer,Nintendo Mag,PSM,anytype of body building mag, and Car mag. just stay away from the playboy, hustler, XXL,King,SSX,Black Men!! I recomend The Ebony Or Jet or vibe mag they are very informative espically the JET mag....but the best informant mag out is NEWSWEEK, and FORBES, but i remember when i was in school we had a mag called....Highlites its really cool also try ZooBooks
