Personally i loved the first one 'Interview with the vampire' I really liked 'The vampire Lestat' and 'The Vampire Armand'. which out of the 10 chronicles was your favourite?? ( I presume there is only 10 but please correct me if im wrong, i dont want to miss any of Anne Rice's genious, i love her writing!) So which is the best and why..?

Memnoch the devil
it is the most wonderful read. Besides Lestat meets God and The devil (whom wants to recruit him for his side) He stil fights with his humanity and love for David. He loses an eye cuz the devil slaps him he see's heaven and so forth...Great book.
of course Queen of the Damned outlines how he becomes so powerful

I got really bored with the series after Queen of the Damned. Forced my way thru Tales of a Body Thief. I have to say that the first two are my favorites. Interview is probably the best. Lestat can be very overwinded.

I liked Interview with the vampire because it was the first of them that I read and it really drew me in. Besides I loved the character of Luis.

I love Ann Rice Books. Her next one is going to be a real humdinger. It will involve according to her last TV interview, about Jesus. No I am not kidding.

to me INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE if the first and best...it is so deep and so full of questions...i can read and re-read it...TALE OF THE BODYTHIEF is also good....
i never miss an Anne Rice book...they are wonderful....
have you read the Mayfair witches books...if not, you should...they are so interesting...

I liked Queen of the Damned best because it laid out all the beginnings of the vampires. I haven't read anything of hers since.....
