Federal "law" clearly defines these flags as military ONLY they are not ornamental.

they probably are decieveing us they treat the american people like a communist government would, Bush is just a freakin joke , lies upon lies , but that is just what I think it really isnt an answer our government is allways covering stuff up, there probably is someone else under the covers that is really taking care of business , Im thinking Britain has a hold on something .

Interesting argument.

However, while the gold fringe may be specified in military codes, I don't believe you are correct in that they are limited only to military usage.

4 USC 1 specifies the flag, but does not prohibit a fringe. According to case law going back 80 years, the gold fringe is used as an honorable enrichment only. It is not regarded as an integral part of the flag and its use does not constitute an unauthorized addition to the design prescribed by statutes.

It's been used on civilan flags since the 1830s, but wasn't adopted as common in the military until 1895.

How is that deception? It is a symbol of the country. Courts are part of the government after all.
