I want to get my tounge & bellybutton pierced, But I'm not very fond of pain and I'm terrifyied by needles. Its a phobia of mines. And I want to get two Tattoos, one on my left breast and one on my right upper arm. But again, I'm terrifyied of needles & not fond of pain. But I really want the tatoos & piercings. What should I do? Does getting what I want mean excurciating pain?

I will tell u what I tell everyone thats asks me about tats cuz I have over 20 of them and I have one where u r wanting urs at. Yes they hurt but the worse is the out lining of a tat after that its not that bad. As for ur tounge and belly button I have that too as for my tounge all I felt was the presure from the tongs holding my toung, as for my belly button I felt a lil more but wasn't bad at all. I will give u this advice which I tell everyone the more u psych urself out then its gonna hurt but if u go in w/ a clear mind of knowing yes there will be some pain but not that bad and as ur getting it done just put urself somewhere else and u will do fine. I have had ppl do as I said to do and they did fine. I hope I have helped u some if u have more questions about tats just IM me alright.

You know what... I have my belly pierced and I thought it was going to hurt very very bad because how thick the skin is there, but i did not even feel it. It was done and over with real fast. Tattoos I have also. Those do hurt im not going to lie, but after awhile the body gets used to the pain. The shop i go to even has numbing spray so it will not hurt as bad. One piece of advice get the tattoo on your arm but not your breast. Breast are all about beauty and if you get a tattoo on it the reality of beauty and breast gets killed.

In some parts of the bodies, piercings and tattoos hurt more or less. But if you really, i mean REALLY want it, you ll have to face your fears and do it. piercings only take a few seconds to do, so you only have to be in pain for a short time. If u get your tongue pierced, Ive heard its not painfull at first, but you ll have problems eating for 2 weeks. Tattoos take longer to do.. from 10 mins to a couple of hours. i suggest you bring a tennis ball or and anti stress ball that you can squeeze while they are doing it. don't look and concentrate on something else.
But most important, don't get inked or pierced just because it sounds or looks cool. do it as a personal decision and assume this decision. yes, it hurts, but you ll probally have to face much more painfull things in ur life.

PS: if u do feel like you are gonna faint : TELL THE PERSON! so that they can give u first aid. if you are fine at first.. and then feel dizzy, tell them before you fall on the floor.

I have my tongue pierced. The first 3 days is the worst. If you don't like needles, I would suggest you tell the person thats piercing to not let you see the needle. It helps. Your tongue will swell a bit. You're supposed to keep a bottle mixed half listerine half water, and carry it around for a week, swishing some in your mouth anytime you feel. This will kill the bacteria, sumtimes it numbed the pain for me.
If you REALLY want to I say go for it.

It isnt that painful......its like a pain for a couple of seconds with the piercings...as for tattoos those do hurt a little bit, but it is pretty barable have someone be there so you can hold their hand....needles with the tat gun isnt a big issues you dont even really notice it while he/she is tattooing you...it doesnt go in like a needle in a shot.....be sure you go to someone trusted and has tat and piercing lisences and my advice is you will never get over your fears till you face them so buck up face them and enjoy....after its all over and done with you will be satisfyed with your piercings and tats and then you will have gotten over a fear....its a 2 in one deal!! There are also ways to turn pain into pleasure, but I wont go into that....if anything gets too painful for me I put myself into a meditative state....so try that also.

if you are not into pain or needles go with the bellybutton and tattoo on the arm, the tat on the breast is just not a good look ... you will grow to hate it plus it going to hurt like a mother i would think.

I had the same fears and I risked it by getting a tattoo...after I got one my fear of pain went away ...tattoos don't hurt that bad I think it is all in A persons head...they have a preconceived notion about how much pain is involved....go for it...it will be an exciting experience...by the way some people actually get addicted to being tattooed...it's fun in a way..

For you it would because you are terrified of needles and don't care for pain. The piercings do hurt and sometimes become infected. The same goes for tattoos. Try the temporay tattoos; they are very realistic and you could change the design every week or so!

Pain is relative to your own personal pain barriers, so no one else can acuratly describe, the feeling, but i have 8 tattos in various places and i still keep wanting more so it cant be that bad, but you can get them to stop, if you dont think you can put up with it, and belly peircing which i also have is quick in performing , but does take alot longer to heal and can get infected easier, because of its location, dressing wise.. i never have and never will have, my tongue pierced so cant help with that one .... good luck hope you get what you want, just remember tattoos are permanant so to speak u can remove peircings so be absolutely sure, and use a reputable tattoist

Excruciating? No. The top of the breast and upper arm would not hurt very much. It would feel like a dull tapping. Its not bad. I have two tattoos, and they both went numb after about 5 minutes of the tattoo. Then they just hurt like a sunburn.
