I would suggest getting a keyboard with bigger keys. Some keyboards have keys so tiny that you end up pressing 3 or 4 at a time. And while it may be called "fat fingering," it doesn't have a great deal to do with the size of your fingers. Rather it is the size of the keys that are too small.

I have skinny fingers but I still manage to do way too many typos. I blame it on never having any formal training on keyboards. I try to keep my eight fingers on the 8 central letter keys (A, S, D, F and H, J, K, L) and my thumbs on the space bar but when I start to type fast, I dance all over the keyboard in a random manner.

Keep a proper stance over your keyboard. You shuld be using the tips of your fingers not your whole pad of your fingers. Try elevating your wrists instead of resting them on something. It may feel wierd at first and even mess you up more but once you get used to it your typing should improve.

Make sure that you don't have lazy fingers. Keep your fingers somewhat high above the keys (obviously while your finger tips are still on the keyboard) almost like someone scratching a chalkboard to make that terrible sound.

It takes practice but I'm sure you'll do great. Good luck!

Well..I like anyone else experience fat fingering now n then.

It has to do with the distance of the keys on your keyboard and there are some keyboards out there with proper and correctly spaced keys.

I found myself fatfingering the most when I have to switch between those types of keyboards. I find SUN keyboards to be the most likely to fatfinger on and HP keyboards to be the best spaced, thus avoiding fatfingering.

Um, take your time and type with the right fingers. You'll type alot faster when you learn to type correctly. Taking a typing class works really good too.

You can do that by practicing on a typing program.. I practiced on Mavis Beacon typing program and it is good but it makes me nervous maybe because of the music? just put your fingers on the home keys and relax we all do some mistakes while typing it's normal don't worry things like that takes time

Don't rest your wrists so heavily on the bottom of the keyboard. Try to type with your wrists hoovering higher, and you'll have better control over which keys your finger is hitting.
