The satin finish ones are especially during the summer if you are always seeking out the cool spot on the sheets and pillowcase. I was convinced that only very high thread count egyptian cotton would be cool and comfortable enough. Then I stayed in the Intercontinental Hotel in Europe where they used these 100% polyester satin finished sheets which felt like a cool summer rain on my body during the 2003 heatwave where they have no AC.

Polyester does not "breathe" well. If you want to stay cool, try some cotton sheets. The higher the thread count, the softer the sheet, unfortunately, the more expensive also.

Ew! Polyester does not breathe! They would be way to warm in the summer. Polyester is plastic. Get some cotton sheets and be comforable.

go for 100% cotton with a high thread count like 400 or 600
as high as you can afford to buy
