I think that mucus in your nose should be removed. Nose hairs makes sure that the dirt doesn't get into your system. I think that you should pick your nose.

Great question. This has to be one of the most important questions ever asked on yahoo answers. I commend you.
However, I think you picked the wrong category. This question should be either in philosophy or religion - on second thought, definitely in religion!
Once you get an answer to this question perhaps you could go into more detail and ask other questions like:
1. Should there be a law that states up to how many knuckles of your finger can you stick in your nose in public? I favor a law that says that anything past the second knuckle should be reserved for the privacy of the home.
2. Considering the attitude most people have toward nose-pickers, isn't it great that when people see a really long fingernail on a male, they assume it's for drug use?
3. Maybe you could ask people to send in their nose-picking technique. They could discuss such things as which finger do they prefer to use (providing there's no difference in fingernail length) or do they ever use a finger on the opposite hand for those hard to reach spots or for those really stubborn boogers.
4. How about a question regarding what people do with boogers after they have picked their nose. Now there's a subject worthy of discussion over lunch.

The average human head is the perfect size to fit into a shark's mouth, as well as an elephant's rectum.

The average human eye is the perfect size to be easily sucked out of it's socket by a large, hungry primate such as a gorilla looking for a snack.
