Everyday from the beginning? There wouldn't be an everyday, there would only be one day - the first day, and hell yeah I'd say something. To the man first. In all fairness I would have to let him know that he is making me uncomfortable with his comments and if he continued beyond that then I would definitely bring the matter to a higher authority without hesitation.

Some people are offended more easily than others, I work on construction sites and its a little bit different than the white collar world. My definition of harrassment might be different than yours. What is the definition of harrassment in your workplace? Check with your HR director and colleages to find out if this is acceptable behaviour in your environment.

Besides, have you told this person their actions make you uncomfortable? If this has happened since day 1, I would wonder how long you have worked there and why you haven't voiced your feelings sooner. If you have and this continues, then I would report it to a supervisor. Don't assume your complaint will get them fired though.

Serious issue that your employer needs to know about. They don't want a lawsuit and you don't want to be harassed. Even though you are the victim you are the one who needs to say 'stop' and report it to your manager (if you aren’t comfortable with that go to the district manager). You have few rights unless you take action. If you tell your boss and nothing happens call a lawyer they will be very very glad to talk to you.

BTW - Document everything! Names, times, specifically who said what, any witnesses. Put you complaint in writing and keep a copy.

I would definately say something, it's in my nature to. Getting him fired it's not something I would aim for that's up to the powers that be, but I would definately want him to stop, well I would actually make him stop, screw getting fired, if that's the outcome of standing up for yourself. Good luck.

Yes, go to your HR department. It might not get him fired, unfortunately, but what is happening is not appropriate and illegal. They should investigate it and take appropriate action per company policy.

you betcha I would. I value my body and self enough to not let that happen. The jerk needs to learn that just because he is a man, not every woman has to bow to his sexually charged self.
