Could u buy a sidekick and still have verizon wireless?if i got 1 from ebay could i still use it on verizon?

Unfortuantely not. Even though many claim that you can unlock an ESN and use it on any service, you can't. Verizon works off of a CDMA network and the sidekick works off of a completely different network. Therefore I would not get the sidekick if you have Verizon or intend on getting Verizon. Yes, if the Sidekick is one that is set-up to run on Verizon Wireless' network.

An easy way to tell is to see if there's a Verizon Wireless logo on the phone. If there's not, then it might be for another carrier, and will likely not work with Verizon.

You can buy it but you WON'T be able to use it with Verizon. The Sidekick was made exclusively for T Mobile and operates on the GSM network.

Verizon operates on the CDMA EV-DO network.

Those are 2 different networking technologies.

I'd advise you NOT to buy a Sidekick unless you plan on switching over to T Mobile.

yes. here's the thing though. you need to find an UNLOCKED sidekick in order for it to work. once you do, some of the features of the sidekick WILL NOT work on verizon since they do not feature it themselves. you can still make calls and get them and txt and stuff but some other functions of the sidekick may not work on verizons system

no tmobile uses a sim card if you dont have a sim card the phone wont work
