Hmm...I prefer a nice clean pool. I'm not really much for swimming in the ocean with sharks, fish, sharp rocks, seaweed, salty water, and a hellacious undertow/riptide. The sand is really gross when you are wet, too (uggh).
Nice clean pool where you can swim without worrying about drowing, being carried out to see, or eaten by a large fish is good enough for me. If I want waves I'll have someone spash a raft around the pool.

A nice clean pool would be good enough for me to be satisfied with. (right across the yard) Besides, I have to travel 3 hours to get to the nearest beach...

Clean pool or jacuzzi. At the beach, the salt water always gets in my eyes and nose and ears, and it's hard to swim in it unless you get out really deep.
