Let me call the Arabs bigot for good reasons. Hezbollah's attack on Israel to enlarge the war by bringing in Iran and Syria as the standby has a single goal. That is the extermination of the Zionist state. It wants bigger scale wars instead of the more beneficial approach through settlement and reconstructing broken lives. They are for more bloodshed, more suffering and more pain for own people, more terrorism, more shouts of condemnations in the international arena, more and more to no end. It is now international terrorism.

The late Arafat had had learned his lesson to take the later path as they the Palestinians (fighting against Israel ocuppation of their lands) are doing the fighting themselves. Saudi Arabia had cut off or reduced the funds to them, so they have to go for settlement in whatever way possible. Is there good reasons to turn down every resolutions by the UN or third parties over the decades to go on with the fighting?

The Hezbollah of Lebanon, another aggrieved party of occupied lands (that is southern Lebanon). The Arab world support for the Hezbollah is luke warm because of its extreme view as the Hezbollah's leader leader is talking about extermination of a race, a state, and terrorism. When things get hot with the continuous Israeli bombings of southern Lebanon, the Arab world calls for condenmnation, ceasefire, and peacekeepers.

Supporters include organiztions such as the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), and affliates. They had failed to overcome obstacles for a settlement or ask blunt questions as to why the warring parties did not want a settlement. Have they been honest with the aggrieved they have been trying to help , even at the expense of causing offence because of shifting bigotry and endless contradictions and irrelevant issues among the Arabs? It's a shame so many countries in the Arab world cannot find a settlement, yet still have the energy to prolong the conflict. Energy is getting more expensive by the day.

Israel on the other side is no without fault. Sometime on, there must be giving of occuppied lands back the to the Arabs (all those Arabs with lands occuppied by the Israel). Jewish planned settlements on occupied land is a constant source of irritation to the Arabs. The start- stop knee jerk responses during different Israeli governments have not been helpful to a durable settlement. Excessive use of forces may be deterrent, but it brings extensive resentment and deepens the conflict to a new level. Reliance for a sizable peacekeeping force by sypathethic nations or the UN is not an ideal solution though a temporary relief at best.

It is not a clear-cut question of right or wrong. The issue is only about having enough guts on telling off any side not working hard enough or doing the right things towards a settlement to. the conflict. This refers to the frontline parties as well as the organizations sympathetic to the agrrieved parties or supporters.

So easy solution is no durable settlement, if any. The world just do not want to hear of wolf cries any more.

They need businessmen more than patriotic leader with no wisdom or leadership for change..

Because Israel was attacked and now is defending herself. Why is the world whining about something terrorists started? Why is the world siding with a bunch of cowards that use UN outpost to fire rockets and missiles into Israeli cities? Does Hezbollah have an actual uniform or military dog tags to identify them? How can you be sure that the dead aren't Hezbollah? Why did the Lebanese gov't allow Hezbollah to establish offices and elect members to their gov't if they can't control them? Why is the world letting Syria & Iran infiltrate Lebanon & Iraq to continue violence that gains nothing but death and destruction for all? When civilized Arabs are willing to tackle these issues then we might be headed for peace.

They are all destroying human life's. Countries at war. That is a part of war. Human lives were taken in New York City on 911 They are being taken in Israel - in London when the bomb blast on the train. Anytime to you have war you will have loss of life. Israel is killing people, and innocent people at that. Why is that? Is it because they hate these people? Is it because these people are combatants (which would mean they are not innocent - no). The reason is because the enemy of Israel, Hezbo, is hiding behind these people.

Read the letter from the Canadian Major killed in Lebanon this week. He was one of the "peace keepers" or "observers" that got killed when Israel struck his compound. In the dead mans own words it says that Hezzbo is all around him and using the UN station as a shield to attack Israel.

Why is the world quietly standing by while the Hezbollah cowards bomb residential areas and hide in private homes, mosques, hospitals, schools and refuse to let the citizens of these areas leave. It is Hamas, Al-Quadia, and Hezbollah who are intentionally taking the lives of innocent civilians (their own civilians) not Israel.

Isreal cannot be expected to lay down arms while being targeted by Herzbollah rockets. The International community realizes this and as it is unable to exert any pressure on Herzbollah, it can't do anything.Both sides have to ceasefire in order for peace to work.
