Im charting my periods for 3 years now. Im also trying a new product called Vitex its always been around and its a natural herb. Its also called the chasteberry tree. You could have cycst growing in or around your tubes. It could be anything. Stress or rapid weight gain or weight loss. It could also be a buildup like endometriosis. I also believe that bycling will help you also. I take two pills of Vitex with just a little water not much in the morning same time. Some people it takes right than. Than others it may take up to three months. I just had my period this month. Im feeling good about it. I have been off birth control for 3-4 years now and Im feeling great. I hope this works for you. I have had regular periods as long as I take this. It has to be everyday. I get atleast 10 minutes of excercise. Ive went months at a time when I first got off birth control it took me over a year to have a period again. I hope that your ok. Good Luck**

I am also 28 yrs old and this has happened to me alot i have two opinions for you first you could have a cyst on one of your ovaries and this can stop your periods however in my case i felt like i was on my period emotionally and physically but there was nothing there. this happens to me about 4 times a year so it is possible. second this happened when i was 24 my hormones were out of whack because of stress and lot of other things by gyno said it was premature menopause give me some hormones and i was fine. however with all being said you should see your gyno because something is most definetly not right. oh and one last thing if you r trying to become pregnant stop thinking about because you can actually psychologically trick your body into thinking it is pregnant so there r a few things to think about but please let me know how things work out for you!

I skipped periods a lot when I was younger because I have polycystic ovary syndrome (which wasn't diagnosed for a few years.) If you have less than 6 periods in a year, it's irregular and you need it checked out. Keep up with your annual gyno exams and Pap tests and if you have any serious pain or fever, get examined as soon as possible. It might not be serious, but just keep up with your symptoms and how long it's been since your last period in case it actually is serious.

That's actually quite normal. By no means are women required to have a period every month. If, however, you're used to your period coming on time each and every month, then it could be a sign that something is wrong - make an appointment with a gynecologist or endocrinologist (I don't trust family physicians, but that's just me..).

There are instances of periods stopping because of heavy training sessions for Olympic gymnasts. Are you in training? Some diets provide insufficient nutrients. Are you dieting? Some illnesses cause a period to be skipped. If none of these applies to you, go see a doctor. You may be fine, but you may need professional medical help.

Any change in your life could stop your monthly for a time. Anywhere from stress, a move, change of environment. Also, hate to tell yah, sumtimes prego tests don't show anything, my friend was prego twice, took tests up to 4mths along for both and they kept coming back negative........sumtimes it just works that way. Your best bet is to treat yourself like u r prego until u know definately for a fact that u arent..i.e.eating right, don't smoke, things like that. Don't mean to scare ya but it is true.

There could be so many possible reasons and the number one being stress. Also, have you changed your eating habits? If not, you should contact your gyno just to be sure that there is nothing serious going on.

It's normal, and you know, it can be a million things! Stress, nutrition, working out oo much, etc. It's happened to me before that I didn't get my period in over 45 days!
