I have never seen a person put mascara on with their mouth closed. Why can't they keep their mouth shut?

I heard that keeping your mouth open while you apply eye makeup prevents you from blinking.

I can apply mascara perfectly with my mouth closed! That's the only way I have ever put mascara on; with my mouth closed. It would be way too hard putting it on with my mouth open. I couldn't imagine doing that.

I can put on mascara with my mouth closed. There was an email about that once. About when we put on mascara we have one eye closed and our mouth open. It's very weird.

There are nerves connected in that part of your face so when you open your eyes really wide to put on mascara you open your mouth without realizing it

Because they are trying to concentrate, and I beleive opening the mouth helps you have better concentration..

that is a mystery, we may never know the scientific reason, but that is the logical reason!

in all risk 'reason you are able to desire to stretch out the muscular tissues around your eyes, and it in basic terms seems organic to open your jaw to stretch out each and all the facial muscular tissues. i will shop on with mascara with my mouth closed, despite if it takes some thinking approximately.

I can put mine on without opening my mouth. It's an unconscious thing, we think it helps us open up our eye more... it really doesn't do anything. But it shouldn't matter, who really watches when we put makeup on anyway?
