I would try selling on eBay. You don't need any licensing, and almost zero start up costs. My friend sells plus-size women's clothing on e-bay, and makes a healthy income from it. As he sells more, his client base grows, and he finds many of his customers are repeat customers. As his ebay feedback improved he found he was getting more for his clothes in the auctions. Also, he links from his eBay pages to his own web-page where he sells items from his virtual store. Good luck!
