I think you should go preppy, I rocked all that urban stuff during my freshman&sophmore year and honestly it's not all that. You should dress more school-girl type classical(preppy), I received more compliments with that look(my junior year) especially me being an African-American girl myself.
*But always keep a pair of white forces.

Think colors! African-Americans have such a beautiful skin tone, you can pull off colors that not many people can. So I'd say try orange or yellow or green...I think orange is the best though :]

it quite relies upon on whats on your closet haha. i could choose for thin denims shoes= apartments or communicate shirt= in line with risk some thing that has a good looking trend. or instead of basically a tee shirt choose for some thing type setting up or it quite is an empire waist or some thing. and in case you arent allowed to positioned on tank tops, yet have one which you rather such as you ought to positioned on a good looking tank with a vest over it. idk, that s what i could do. haha
