If it looks good, I wear it, simple as that, but sadly the only things i like are pricey

I do tend to follow certain trends but I mix in my own style as well.

I am always looking for new ideas for clothing

My favorite brands are True Religion, Seven for all Mankind, Butterfly dropout, anything from Urban Outtfitters or Revolve clothing.com

I think trends are totally rediculous and stupid. In case anyone has never noticed, If a person bought clothing over a 20 year period, They would always be "in style" I never cared...even in high school. So no..I don't follow trends.

I don't know if I would call wearing T-shirts all the time a style, but that's my usual apparel. I rather dress for comfort.

My rules:
- whatever it is, it's got to be clean (no soiled clothes.)
- khaki slacks for work, jeans for weekends
- polo shirts or button shirts (silicon valley uniform)
- don't mix stripes with solids (dufus factor)
- always match belt and shoe color (a nice touch)
- always a handkerchief (never know when you need to stop someone's bleeding)
- lightly iron everything (except jeans) (another nice touch)

Pretty simple and works for me.

Hope this helps your survey.

I've developed my own style. It's eclectic/preppy.
