Well, if the egg is still viable and is fertilized, it might have a chance, but only if it implants in the lining of the uterus before it is all flushed out.

The other possibility is if the woman is bleeding, but not actually having a period. I had some really bad scaring on my fallopian tubes and uterus when I was younger. Each time I would ovulate I would bleed. I thought I was getting my period every two weeks, but I wasn't. I was getting the bleeding from tearing the uterus during ovulation and then the bleeding from my actual period. In that case, I would have been able to get pregnant under the assumption that I did have my period, but in reality I didn't.

No she can not. While having your menstrual cycle is when your ovaries clean up all those extra eggs.. So no you can't get pregnant while menstruating... Careful in having sex while in period is unhygienic and can cause an infection...
