I had the same problem, but it only happened after I installed Yahoo antivirus, spyware, toolbar software. Once i removed it that went away.

You changed an already existing document and then shut down the program before saving your work. So the computer saved it for you. You can delete this file and it may ask "do you want to save changes now"...just click on no you have all the info. I hope this helps.

im not sure i understand the problem but try this
click start then all programs
then look for a folder named start up
in that folder delete anything you dont want to start when windows starts
dont worry your not deleting the programs your just preventing them from loading when windows does
