If by hell you mean the judeo-christian burning inferno of torment... under what circumstances would your 'god' allow you to take the place of someone slotted to spend eternity in suffering?
Are you brave enough to consider the possibility that hell, and heaven for that matter, are metaphors for the lives you lead in search of enlightenment / peace / understanding?
Obviously, your question is really about how much you love your lover, and what you are willing to do in the name of love. Perhaps a better question would be: If your lover could show you how to get to heaven, but it meant that you would have to risk your soul, would you listen? Would you trust your lover with your soul?

No way!! Nothing and nobody is worth going to Hell for at any time. Sorry, my lover would just be up a creek. My goal is to go to Heaven. Going to Hell is not an option.

how could you let your self go to hell to replace your lover, if your lover is truly love you , then knowing you in hell will make every place is hell for your lover, and thus, made both of you really go to hell,
but if you are togather, anywhere can be heaven,,,,, eternity with your love one,,,,,, isn't that heaven?

I do not believe in Hell. Anything like that. But just to ammuse you...if I did I would let my partner go. Are you kidding? I admit that I care more about myself than anybody else. Oh well.

It is impossible to take on your lover's sins and go to hell.
He is responsible for his own actions and he, ALONE, has to pay for it - whether it may be going to hell or suffering on the earth!

actually, i have a philosophical question in answer to this question..
if i volunteered to go to hell for my lover, wouldn't i be sacrificing myself, thereby doing a good deed, and therefore, be allowed into heaven?

I would do anything to save my man from something like that. Though we'd prolly argue about it, we'd both take bullets for each other. But yes, without any hesitation.

No, for two reasons.
1)We cannot take the other's place like Christ did for us. We each have to pay for our own sins.
2)If he wasn't a saved believer, I wouldn't be with him in the first place.

I love my husband, and luckly I don't have to worry about this
because we are both saved, but if I had a choice I'd say no, because I'm not christ
