I was watching her show one week and it was off the next next without any word of cancellation. Is the show still on in other areas? (I live in Tenn.)

Ricki Lake's talk show ended in August of 2004. It was Lake's own decision to end her show. Lake told Rosie O'Donnell in an interview in 2000, that she had signed a contract for four years. Sony Pictures Television had many stations contracted through the 2004-2005 season. However, Ricki pulled the plug on her own show, citing (amongst other things) a desire to spend time with her family. Ricki moved from Los Angeles to New York to tape the 11th season of the show, and then moved back to California when taping was complete.

I hate it when that happens, I was getting into Surface and it got cancelled.. but no, I can't tell you what happened to that show..

I guess your local affiliate quit picking her show up. Or maybe she got cancelled. Why don't you contact your station and find out?

i agree i miss her show she had one of the better talk shows, i live in California and shes been off air here for a LONG time..hmmmm???

She came out of the closet , and no one watched her , so her show got the axe.......
