get some clear mildew resistant window caulk, that should do it.....
make sure you clean out the cracks first.
Or you can use buy concrete tubes that fit in a caulk gun... they geneerally use the stuff to repair cracks....its basically liquid concrete in a caulk tube...

DO NOT USE BLEACH! Bleach should not be poured into the ground. Ever.
I am surprised the Round Up isn't working, and hope you realize it can take a couple weeks to work. However, it is not a total killer, so new weeds can grow in the places where you just killed the last batch (Round Up breaks down in about 2 weeks, so you can replant in a weeded area if needed).
I don't like to use chemicals either, but I do rely on Round Up for my gravel driveway. I have to apply it about once a month in warm weather, as new weeds continue to germinate.
You can also buy a total weed killer. The Round Up company introduced one this spring and Ortho's version is actually called Total Weed Killer. This should only be applied in areas where you never want anything to grow.
Certainly do not fill the gaps with rigid materials such a mortar or concrete, as they will only crack and pop out as the materials expand and contract due to weather changes.

Get a good quality ureathane masonary joint sealent at the harware store and some expanded foam "rope". Use a really big screw driver to dig the soil from the crack then put the rope in and caulk the joint, you will be weed free for a long time.

With weeding there is more than one way to skin the cat.
Pulling them by hand is best but labor intensive.
Propane torch is more expensive (barely) than pulling them by hand unless you consider the long term expense of arthritis.
You can buy it at home depot (about $35 in the tool department) or at a an expensive gas supply company and it works with the tank you use for your BBQ. It doesn't poison. Doesn't whack. And it's actually kind of fun seeing the bastards burn.
The roots will eventually die off if you are diligent about torching them before they get to big. But the wind will blow in new seeds.

I have done this many times! It won't cost alot either.I wasn't doing very well and couldn't afford to buy expensive sprays. I just mixed bleach and water and sprayed it where I needed it. It works every time. *BEWARE it will also kill the grass around it, and anything else living nearby. It will also turn it yellow. It may not be what you're looking for. Do some research first.

You can pour boiling water on them, keep doing that several times, eventually you should kill the root. My father used gasoline, but that isn't any better than using round out. I do use round out, try to do it in the full sun on a hot day, it works better and faster

Vinegar in a spray bottle will get rid of them also. If you're looking for something permanent, you're going to have to get on your knees and try to pull out the whole weed, root and all.

The best way is to pull them out by hand and then seal it with caulking like you have seen other people do.

Pour boiling water on the cracks. Kills the weeds for about a month, and costs nothing.
