Dreams occur in the Alpha level of sleep. It doesn't matter the hour ofthe day or night. This is the first level of sleep that you enter and thelast level of sleep you exit as you awaken. You can tell if aperson is in the alpha state because the eyeball will be twitching back and forth under the eyelid and theperson will be in a sleep. We do not remember all of our dreams when we awaken. And we forget many details shortly after waking up. It is interesting to have a notebook by your bed and right down what you remember right after you wake up. Over a period oftime, you will probably see a pattern emerge. Try it. Best wishes

You have dreams while you sleep (typically). It would not matter if you slept during the day or at night; it's your brain's way of sorting through stuff & "taking out the trash."
