Do you think it will be too late when the powers that be realize Wal-Mart is slowly taking over the world??

Contrary to popular belief, Wal-Mart is not the antichrist. They are being demonized by the labor unions for doing exactly the same thing that has always been done in retail sales. If Wal-Mart is so evil, why do people shop there? Why do people work there? If as many people claimed they refuse to do business with Wal-Mart actually did what they said, Wal-Mart would be out of business instead of growing.

Wal-Mart gets its dollars from using only a handful of workers when twice as many are needed. The money goes almost directly to the people in charge of operations, and to their children, and to the children's children, and so on through inheritances.

It isn't Wal-Mart you should be afraid of, it's the people who are in charge of operations and their families who may come to power in the future with the inherited money.

LOL It seems that way.I live a mile to my super-center,and it is the social gathering spot.Business after busines has closed as a direct result of wal-mart.They are currently building 1200 super-centers in China,as we speak.

Hey, if they make a good product that people enjoy - then why knock them. People don't have to buy from them, people don't have to work for them, people don't have to let them move into their community. If they run Mom and Pop joints out of business, then I would say that the Mom's and Pop's should have upped the quality of their product - not expect Walmart to dumb theirs down. This country was made great because of competition, and innovation - Walmart brings both.
