No, it was NOT Drew Barrymore. It was Heather O'Rourke and she died after the 3rd movie because her parents were Religious freaks and didn't take her to the doctors for a stomach infection (or something like that). Freaky thing...years later my mom and I were in a Friendly's and saw a girl with the same hair, looking just like here (like from the 1st or 2nd movies) coloring the same way. Very freaky.

it was not Drew, that was ET. The little girl who played in poltergeist passed while making the movie. She died Feb 1, 1988 from cardipulmonary arrest.
