I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about, but my first guess would be that they are singing about a "boll weevil" (a bug) instead of a "bow weasel" (never heard of one).

There have been a few songs and versions of songs about the boll weevil....from Brooke Benton to the Presidents of the United States of America. The old traditional version that you might be talking about might be sung by Cisco Houston. Here are the lyrics:

Well, the boll weevil is a little black bug
Come from Mexico they say
Well he come all the way to Texas
He was lookin for a place to stay
Just lookin' for a home,
He was lookin' for a home

He was lookin' for a home,
Lookin' for a home.
He was lookin' for a home,
Well, lookin' for a home.

Well, the first time I seen a boll weevil,
He was sitting on a square,
And the next time I seen the boll weevil,
He had his whole damn family there,
They were looking for a home,
Just looking for a home.

They were lookin' for a home,
Oh, lookin' for a home.
They were lookin' for a home,
Well lookin' for a home.

Then the farmer took the boll weevil,
Put him in the hot sand,
And the boll weevil said to the farmer,
"Well, you are treating me like a man.
It'll be my my home,
I'll have a home

I'll have a home,
I'll have a home.
I'll have a home,
It'll be my home."

Then the farmer took the boll weevil,
Put him on the ice,
And the boll weevil said to the farmer,
"It is mighty cool and nice.
It'll be my my home,
It'll be my home.

It'll be my home,
It'll be my home.
It'll be my home,
It'll be my home."

Well the farmer said to his wife "Honey,
what do you think about that?
The old boll weevll done made a nest
In my brand new Stetson hat,
And it's full of holes,
It's full of holes.

It's full of holes,
Oh, full of holes,
It's full of holes,
It's full of holes."

Oh, the boll weevil is a little black bug
Come from Mexico they say
Well he come all the way to Texas
Just a-lookin for a place to stay
He was lookin' for a home,
Just lookin' for a home.

He was lookin' for a home,
Oh lookin' for a home.
A-lookin' for a home,
He was lookin' for a home.

'Tain't really that old, really old country song. I can remember it in my youth. Well, yeah, I guess that it is really old then. Well the song was sung by Cisco Houston, back in the 1930's about the boll weevil. The boll weevil is a insect that destroys the cotton boll. That's where the cotton grows from the plant. Boll weevil came up to the states from Mexico. So much for immigration, huh! Oh well, other people have answered this so just think of this a background.

JACK ELLIOT DID IT. Its an old folk song. You should look up on John Lomax he and his son did a lot of research on folk music. Then you'll find the exact explanation about the song.

What I enjoyed with regard to the movie the main grow to be that i've got extremely never considered something like it. I imply, the 1st 20 minutes no longer a be conscious is spoken, and yet i grow to be thoroughly engrossed. I favored the undeniable fact that Josh Brolin's character sounds like a rustic bumpkin, yet in fact, he's a extraordinarily rattling sharp guy. And Tommy Lee Jones- you may basically see the years combating for solid weighing him down. Javier Bardem? while's the final time you have considered a villian as frightening and on the comparable time as enticing as him? I in basic terms observed the movie as quickly as and it unquestionably left an impression on me. i think there are any such super style of techniques you may interpret the movie. And any such super style of questions left unanswered (or in basic terms hinted at). Like authentic existence, no longer each and every little thing is summed up in a effective, tight little 2 hour equipment. For that, i in my view enjoyed this movie.

It's not bow weasel, it's boll weevil, which is a bug that can destroy cotton crops.
