The only cure for a hangover is to either never start drinking or never stop drinking.

Alcohol permanently impairs the neural connections in the brain with "hangover" as one of many side effects.
Your recovery depends on your overall physical fitness and body composition.
Generally, the best thing to do is to sleep it out for a whole day rather than take drugs that simply masks the problem.
You need to allow the brain to repair some of the damage. Some parts cannot be repaired and so it will, over the longer term impair your judgement and balance.
Other physical side effects, such as liver damage (cancer) is common.

Keep drinking! No really, having a drink will make you feel better temporarily but will just put off the dreaded hangover until later. Chug lots of water before going to sleep after a night of heavy drinking to prevent hangovers. Once you have one, just make sure to drink plenty of fluids and sleep it off.

Calcium, Potassium, and Ibuprofen. You can buy Tums for the Calcium, a banana for potassium, and take a Motrin. Then drink lots of water. Trust me this works. When I used to work in pharmacy I would use this stuff. Vitamin B-12 is also ok but not as great.

Start drinking again. No, take an ibuprofen before you go to bed, it will help relieve your headache a little. There is also a product called "Chaser" you can get at the drug store. You take those while you drink. They seem to help me quite a bit!

(1) eat something greasy and salty with plenty of carbs. such as Pizza, Chinese restaurant take outs, or canned soup. these will help "absorb' some of the liquor in your system. (2) drink lots of liquids. this will prevent your body from further dehydration. i.e. dry heaves. (3) take an aspirin and go back to sleep.
