Do you find we are a dying breed? Or that "new country" music fans are just a little less passionate about this genre of music?
Myself, I don't think I could live without it...country is in my soul...it courses through my veins...lol :-D

I don't think that we are a dying breed. There are three country stations in my city and they have country festivals all the time. But I COMPLETELY agree with you about being passionate. Recently people pick and choose what kind of country music they like. They like some Rascal Flatts..But not all Rascal Flatts. They like Keith Urban but they can't stand Toby Keith. Or there are others that don't appreciate older country like George Jones and Johnny Cash. It drives me crazy!

EDIT!
CtryChick..Why does your username say Country chick if you don't like country music? It's not fading out, and it never will.

I think that alot of the new country fans are just tired of rap and rock music and want to listen to something where they can actually hear the lyrics!

We just know what's good......they (the "new country" fans) know what Nashville wants them to hear and are told that it's cool.
